How much should I pay creators?
BeeRoll is an open marketplace. We let creators bid what they would like based on different factors (see below).
Number of shots in your storyboard: A good rule of thumb for a standard bid is $10 x the number of shots. If your storyboard has 10 shots, you should expect to pay $100 on average.
Work involved in creating the video: If your video requires multiple people in the video, multiple outfit changes and / or traveling outside of the home, then generally you should expect a 50% increase in the average bid. So your $100 video with 10 shots is probably more like $150
Creator demand: creators with lots of work / who regularly produce high quality content may want higher amounts to compensate for their time. This is
Value of your product: a more expensive product (e.g., expensive boots) is likely to work better as compensation than something relatively inexpensive (e.g., a soft drink). You can think about your product value
You will be asked about creator bids in two spots:
When setting up your storyboard:
This should be your "average bid" for your storyboard. Some creators will bid more and some will bid less based on the above factors. This bid will show up in the BeeRoll creator app for any creators perusing our app for new offers.

When inviting a creator:
This is a specific offer you are sending to a specific creator. You can see what creators request for a standard video by clicking on their profile. Think of this as their average bid for a storyboard with 10 shots that they can film by themselves at home.
